Close started in 2004 and is a UK based brand who specialise in reusable nappies and baby wearing. They make products that are inspired by the world around us, sensitively made and environmentally conscious. Their Pop-in two part nappies are award winning, easy to use and made from recycled plastic bottles!
Meet the nappies
The Close Pop-in reusable cloth nappy comes in two different sizes; newborn and onesize. The newborn nappy fits from 5lb - 12lbs (2-5.5kg) approximately and the onesize nappy fits from approximately 7lbs - 35lbs (3.2 - 18kg). Close Pop-in nappies are all in two nappies. This means that the absorbent part of the nappy completely detaches from the waterproof outer. Due to this, they are quick to dry and the Close Pop-in inserts popper into the waterproof outer which means they are easy to set up after each wash.
Newborn Close Pop-In nappies
The front section is contoured to fit around baby’s umbilical cord and the nappy itself is much slimmer, intended for the lower wetting, high frequency changing those first few months bring. The waterproof outershell isn’t lined so you can simply switch out the inner and wipe clean and re-use the cover if it’s not soiled.
One-Size Pop-In nappies
One size Pop-in nappies have a double leg gusset which helps keep baby comfortable and leak free between changes. The inserts pop in and out with ease and have additional soaker to add absorbency as little one grows. You can also use an additional specially designed nighttime booster which means this super slim daytime nappy quickly converts to a comfortable night nappy.
How do I use the Pop-in nappy?
Snap in the one or both boosters depending on how much absorbency you need and then the nappy goes on and off as one piece. When washing, separate the soaker, booster and outer nappy for quick drying time. All newborn Close Pop-In nappies are velcro fastening and the one size you can choose either velcro or popper depending on the print!
