What is the difference between an all in one and an all in two nappy?

These are two of the most common nappy types so we thought we would compare the two types and explore the pros and cons of each type of reusable cloth nappy. 

All In One Reusable Cloth Nappies

We stock Bells Bumz and Tickle Tots all in one reusable nappies currently. Generally, an all in one nappy is all attached as one piece - so the nappy goes on and off like a disposable would do and the absorbency is sewn in to the waterproof cover.  

Bells Bumz All In One

Bells Bumz all in one reusable cloth nappies have the insert sewn in at one end, as you can see in these images. 

Tickle Tots All In One

Tickle Tots All In One reusable cloth nappies are slightly different to the Bells Bumz. There is still a tongue like insert that is sewn in which tucks into a pocket - as you can see in the two images below. However, the Tickle Tots All In One nappy also comes with an additional insert which can be placed inside the pocket to boost the nappy further.

All In Two Reusable Cloth Nappies

We stock Close, Reusabelles and Tickle Tots all in two reusable nappies currently.  All in two nappies generally are two pieces, an absorbent shell and a waterproof outer. These pieces tend to attach together - either with poppers or velcro. This means that an all in two nappy goes on and off like a disposable but the pieces come apart. The benefits of this are that they generally dry quicker than an all in one, and if the nappy is just wet you can change the absorbent part but reuse the outer part so there is less to buy/wash.

Close Pop In All In Two

Close Pop In Nappies consist of an outer shell, a booster which poppers into the shell (you can see the booster already poppered in to the shell in the image above). They also come with an additional soaker which attaches to the booster if you need the additional absorbency. When the booster is wet, you are able to unpopper it, remove it and wipe the shell clean before poppering in a fresh booster allowing you to reuse the shell for multiple changes. 

 Reusabelles All In Two

Reusabelles is the premium brand under the Bells Bumz family and offers an easy to use all in two reusable cloth nappy. You can see from the second image above that the insert poppers into the waterproof shell. 

Tickle Tots All In Two

Tickle Tots all in two nappies also have inserts that popper into the shell - as you can see from the images below.
